Camden is three miles from Schooner Bay. It has its beautiful harbor with numerous boats that can take you on sails from 3 hours to 6 days. You can browse among our many unique boutiques and shops or dine on the docks or out on the town at any of the fine restaurants; hike our wooded hills, sail or kayak our island-studded waters.
Rockport, likewise has its spectacular harbor with a pleasant park to watch the boating activities. In the park is a statue dedicated to Andre the Seal.
Rockland, 6 miles to the south of Schooner Bay, boasts another harbor with the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. Rockland also has many shops and restaurants and a large schooner fleet. In town are The Farnsworth Art Museum and the Maine Lighthouse Museums. A little distance to the south of Rockland is Owls Head Lighthouse and The Owls Head Transportation Museum.
